Service - Holiday Prices
Prices are per property, and per week and include the cost of the accommodation and the booking fee in pounds sterling. Where the rental cost of the property does not include final cleaning, this amount is shown as an additional cost on the price panel for each property and will be added to the invoice. All local taxes must be paid to the key holder together with the deposit and any bed linen charges (if required) on arrival. Water, gas and electricity at your holiday property are included in the price unless otherwise stated. In cases where they are not included, the charges will be payable to the key holder before departure. A supplement may sometimes be payable for electricity over and above a certain number of kilowatts used, as indicated under the accommodation description.
Multiple Centre Holidays – These are possible and our Reservations Consultants will be happy to supply a quote.
Travel pack – For every booking we provide comprehensive detailed instructions on how to find your accommodation.
Linen – Although sheets, pillowcases and towels are not usually included in our prices, bed linen is available at many of our properties as indicated under each description, on payment of a supplement.
Heating – If required, heating may also be charged as an extra and is payable locally. In some cases where there is an open fireplace, firewood may be provided and sometimes at an extra cost.
Telephone – The cost of calls where a telephone is provided, and in some cases a connection charge, is payable locally.
Extra beds – It is sometimes possible to accommodate extra people, but only by prior arrangement with our reservations staff. Where it is possible to do so, an appropriate charge per person per week will normally be payable. It is not permitted to exceed the advertised number of occupants of a house, whether with additional adults or children, without prior agreement. Property owners reserve the right to refuse entry to the property if a party has additional members over and above the advertised capacity.
Cots – These are available in some of our properties at no extra charge or they may be hired locally.
Special requests – Whenever possible we try to meet clients’ requests for cots, extra beds etc, but unfortunately we cannot guarantee that these facilities will always be available.
Clients with special needs – We want everyone to enjoy a completely successful holiday. If you have a disability or a medical condition requiring special travel or accommodation requirements you should let us know in advance. Please call us on 020 8780 7777 so that we can check that the property you have selected fully meets your requirements. Meeting your needs cannot always be guaranteed and your travel insurance should adequately cover any pre-existing medical conditions.
Cleaning – Maid service is not included in our prices and you are expected to clean your house or apartment before departure. If this is not done you may incur a cleaning charge. If on the price panel it states that final cleaning is excluded.
Local Taxes – These are payable locally in some areas. Please allow approximately €1 per person, per day.
Refundable security deposit – This is payable locally and is a transaction between you and the key holder to cover the cost of breakages, damage or additional cleaning costs. Allow €500 per property - sometimes higher in the case of larger properties with private pools or where a telephone is installed. Sometimes you may be asked to send a UK cheque to the owner before departure. Otherwise payment must be made upon arrival in cash and will normally be returned to you prior to departure. In the event that your security deposit cannot be returned to you on your departure (e.g. if the owner is unavailable or has insufficient time to carry out a detailed inspection of the property) please allow up to 56 days for this to be forwarded to you at your home address. Please note that you are responsible for the cost of any breakages or damage to your holiday property which you may cause and you should therefore ensure, if you do not take the Inghams recommended insurance, that you have an equivalent Personal Liability cover to meet the above costs.
Local assistance – For all of our accommodation you will find either the key holder our local office available to assist you in case of problems. However, as not all of them speak English, please make allowance for language difficulties. In case of problems which cannot be solved locally you will be given a Inghams Villas emergency telephone number to call to provide assistance.
